Yeah I am pretty surprised also actually lol. Great base it has to be my most used over the years I think, so many good outer sole/colored inside combos

These Premium "Curry" Dunks from 03/04, was one of the first Nikes to use premium in the title because I remember just being able to search premium dunk on eBay and that is all that would show up...I think I made at least 8 or 9 pairs with these around then...got a few for dirt cheap when JustForFeet was going outta biz....the leather was just amazing. I still have one size 12 waiting for when I get some amazing dremel/woodburner idea...I think that is the only shoes I've ever kept deadstock..7 or so years now...that is crazy to realize.

^^^ I remember seeing a few carved/engraved pairs years back(maybe yours?), seemed like the perfect base for that kind of work.

Koston Ones are my favorite to work on right now.

Astoria did a great custom for me on the matching Air Force 1, the quality on that pack was unbelievable.

Lets see some Kostons!

The walls have ears... that's what I get for sleeping...

Had a Jordan 4 and 5 upper planned besides some eS pro models, oh well.

creative recreations always seem to be my favorite looks after there done. but they are the biggest pain to customize. I like unusual base shoes but should probably do some more hyped ones...

When I started doin' customs...god youd swear I was a veteran haha...I always said ill stick to my skating roots and use DC or Vans or DVS but after my first pair of AF1s I fell in love...I love how the panels can either frame your art piece or you can ignore it entirely and go crazy...its the same with a Dunk too but iv never worked on a pair of those yet whereas with a DC or Vans...it can be a bit harder to "finish" your piece..ie background or edges. Having said all that I find womens heels kinda dope to work on too.

Yeah Lo-Res its hard to go past the classic Nike designs just because they are framed so well to be customized! The panels give you automatic areas of contrast its the easiest shoe to paint on I think!
