Nike Blazer SB "What's Gucci"

Postby Desp1 » Tue Sep 18, 2012 2:15 am

My new drop is the Gucci inspired Nike Blazer SB. I personally have never made a Gucci inspired sneaker before even tho it is one of the most notable colorways and also one of the most reproduced colorway customs.
Obviously this custom was in a way inspired by the Nike Dunk RESN that also was made with denim and Gucci Strap inspired colorway. I went in a bit of a different direction as i did not want to just make a full reproduction of the original design.
Instead of the Black/Green/Red colorway i used a Navy color Japanese 13.5oz Salvage Denim and Black Baby Ostrich leather as main materials, and of course i had to throw in the Gucci Strap to round out the design.
I made the heel to resemble a bag strap so it had a big of a nod to the famous Gucci luggage. The Nike Swooshes have green contrast stitching, and i added a Gucci strap on the tongue and the strap also functions as a lace stay. Last i did the top 3 eyelets of the Blazers in the same color design as the Gucci strap.
As always only 5 pairs will be available through my web-store: http://frshaccessories.storenvy.com/

ONE PAIR is AVAILABLE with DISCOUNT price of $160 in SIZE 11 at my web-store: http://frshaccessories.storenvy.com/pro ... cci-size11

Love the details and the way you have incorporated the colors into this design mate, this is a very professional custom, top notch work as per usual!

There something about Blazers I just dont like...I think theyre very clumpy lookin' or something...but aside from that your work is A+ as always man,the green and red really jump out against the denim/black on the tongue...great work man...looks factory!

Agree with Lo-Res here, it's the folded edge of the swoosh that makes it look 'clumpy'. Is the Ostrich leather folded over the original swoosh then sewn? That would be the cause of the clumpiness (is that a word?) or the ostrich leather is too thick. Other than that they are so clean!

What is the lining material?

Good work mate.

Thanks for the comments guys, i appreciate it. Hay Sekure we need to do something with the spam. I keep deleting it but it just seems to get worst and worst lol. Chase, nah i never use the original swooshes as backing, then they will look way too thick. the leather is actually just thick so it gives it a really bulky feel, in reality it doesn't look so bad in person, it actually looks good lol.

Nice mate, doing a folded edge with thick leather is never easy and you made the swooshes look perfect! Also the Denim you used is top notch. Well done.
