Supra Society Mid's | Eldorado

Postby Blacktie » Fri Oct 12, 2012 3:59 am

I've been M.I.A. lately working on handbags of all things. however, I did get a chance to go to Solecon # in brooklyn last weekend and unveiled 5 new pairs of sneakers I've been working on. a pair of Nike Pepper Lows, 2 pairs of Converse, one pair of Creative Recreations, Pumas and finally what ill be showing off today; a pair of Supra Society Mid's

This pair of kicks are a tie in to some of the zipper bracelets i recently dropped. I wanted to keep the waxed canvas body of the the original but put my own spin on it so I replaced the tongue (it has a very different setup inside to the conventional tongue. more like a sport shoe) with a black pony to give it a contrasting black sheen compared to the matte of the waxed canvas

the heel was also replaced by a gold hounds-tooth lambskin I've been working with lately.

let me know what you think.

I love the Gold hounds-tooth lambskin, is it easy to work with? I've found lambskin to not be that strong.

Picture quality is good, the only thing for me is the black background with a black shoe, doesn't really make the shoes stand-out, as well as there being no close-ups to get the detail of the lambskin and pony hair.

Great choice of materials, good job!
