Here's a couple pictures of my shop. The last one is what it looked like before I ripped up all the carpets and cleaned it up. This place used to be a band practice space before I took it over so it was pretty trashed. Luckily the concrete floors were in perfect shape under all the carpet. I don't have a current picture of that before room, but I have a drafting table in there now, it's where I actually do painting ad other work because it's clean from all the saw dust in the other parts of the shop. That big metal thing is a press I use to make skis and snowboards. I have a cabinet in that room I keep all my paint, spray guns and glue and stuff in.

I was about to ask what the big metal thing was amazing setup! Nothing like a bit of space to work and be creative! So what else do you do in here it looks more like a workshop than a studio, you produce your own decks....

It's definitely more of a workshop. I build decks and skis/boards and do some other woodworking like furniture and cabinets

I moved out of my place at the end of May, so just getting my "new" workspace all set up.

Couldn't find and retail paint racks that fit in my shelving, so I built me own to fit perfect. Top shelf, painting, second shelf, calligraphy, and then third is one of my (way to many) book shelves. Those who know me and my decorating "style" will be shocked to hear that many of my Milk Crates have gone, and those that remain are slowly being replaced by wooden crates that better fit in my new place. (I will always keep some though, don't worry) :P

The desk is an antique (1920's I think) drafting table I recently acquires. The guy I got it from said it was his dads, who used it in the making of the "Wizard of Oz" no proof... but pretty damn cool non the less ;) Just to the right of the desk out of frame is my 6 foot LoveSac foam bag chair for my well deserved breaks heh.

Nice! I love it when a desk has a bit of history behind it! True or not it's a great story. I will post some pic's of my work area up soon. Great Stuff!
