Pretty much everyone will say that painting the midsole is not recommended if you plan on wearing them. The paint will chip and peel after one wear. If you do it for display purposes then its ok. The midsole on lebrons and air maxes is different because its not made out of rubber and can somewhat hold the paint as opposed to AF1 midsoles

I figured as much but thought maybe if i mixed the paint with the littlest bit of acetone it might help it soak into the rubber but i think ill leave it as i plan on wearing the pair im doin' right now,
Thanks Desp

No problem, glad to help. Yea you are better off not painting it if you are gonna wear them, and acetone will not help it bond, acetone only helps with the flexibility of the paint but even in that case you are better off using a textile medium for flexibility.
