Welcome to the forum Jessie! Looks like you have done a pretty nice job, its a lot harder doing cement print then it looks hey! The VIII toebox is my fav part of the shoe.

Just a few general things i watched your video it appears you paint right out of the bottle with the Angelus do you put the duller into the bottles first? Your shoes don't look too shiny so I assume you do. Otherwise your photos look a lot like mine used to I would suggest maybe doing side lateral views of each shoe, you don't have to have both sneakers in each shot sometimes its just too clutered and can result in the pictures being a little unfocused, if your in photoshop try auto contrast and auto color to white balance them out a bit as well.

Just general tips hope it doesn't come off rude just trying to help out. Welcome to the forums hope you like it here!

PS: Checked your site, Toy Story af1 lows are nice! Good job on the text.

Hey, thanks for the comments! I actually don't use duller, maybe I should, I just wouldn't know how much to use/what the ratio should be. And I'll definitely take your ideas into account with the photos.

Thanks for the feedback on the site too, much appreciated!

duller into the bottle directly is bad from my memory? I would always put a small amount into an amount of paint you'll use right away or on a single project. Plus I always remember it needing to be very small amount just a few drops or so if doing it this way....unless you are wanting some type of worn faded look to start in that case you can paint duller directly on dry paint..it can be like a faded white-wash kinda look.

Interesting mix and placement of key elements.
I think I like the toe the best.
Still, the 24 is confusing the hell outta me

Good stuff...I have another critique/comment...the Cement print is a simplistic pattern but not simple. I would vary the lines thicknesses more and practice the pattern before going onto the shoe. At least thats what I do. I paint the pattern on paper for a few minutes until my hand registers it and i can get it down on the shoe. Overall good job.

Thanks for the replies and feedback! The 24 was because the customer got them as a birthday present for a friend who was turning 24. He's a HUGE Jordan fan. Lol
