Nike Dunk 'WoodWork'

Postby chase » Tue Nov 15, 2011 10:28 pm

I finished these at the same time as the 'It's all Vine' pair of Dunks

Based on my Grandfathers workshop area:

They feature Actual Sandpaper
Woodgrain Vinyl for car interior
Brown suede
Orange suede
Fully leather lined (Brown)

The Inner Soles are clear vinyl with wood shavings & chips underneath.

Another practice pair that I learnt a lot from, hope you guys like them!

Thanks

Chase

Ok i think you did a great job with the concept and putting it through on the shoe. The stitch work is clean but the biggest problem i see is the toe area, the toe looks like its blowing up like a balloon. Aside from that u did a great job, keep practicing and you will get the shape of the shoe down soon.

Desp1 covered pretty much everything I was gonna say, you have nice colorways there is no doubt about that the toebox just looks a little inflated here but that comes with experience! Keep up the awesome work enjoying seeing the concepts you are coming up with

Yes hopefully I can get the toe shape right sooner rather than later, lol!

At the moment I'm working on a pair of Blazer's but I'm going to re-visit Dunk's asap.

Thanks for the comments guys!

This is my kinda custom. I love the implementation of sandpaper and wood shavings

Those look sweet! Nice work I really like the use of different materials other than fabric
